- A good example is AmFTP in two-column mode. I use it on a 656x495
- screen, but sometimes that's not wide enough to display completely all
- the information (eg. dates and times) for the column I'm interested
- in. Typically I don't care about that information in my download
- directory but I want to know it for the ftp site, so I can slide the
- balancing bar all the way to the left. Occasionally the reverse is the
- case.
